How to prepare your boat for the Med is the topic of this podcast. Three things that need to be done before crossing the Atlantic and sailing in the Mediterranean and Europe.
Prepare for the Med by:
- Have a boarding plank or passaeu on your boat ready
- Duel voltage charger 112v and 210v here is a link for some
- For some, having a charger that can operate on both American 115 volts AC as well as European 220 volts AC is a necessity.
- Get a windlass!
- So why do this job manually when you can get a machine to do it for you?An anchor windlass is such an important component because it is used to move boat anchors up and down. It lets out and heaves up anchors or fishing trawls. Here is a good article on the subject!
